Been back in Melbourne 2 days now. Considering i've previously lived in melbourne for 7 years, i still have 2 questions.
1) Why is Melbourne so cold?
2) Why does everyone in the city dress in black?
Missing Darwin already. I hear its 30 degrees and sunny with no rain in sight.

Had to do the Pete Murray support gig all solo with just my guitar but it seemed to go over really well. Phenomenal stage sound made it so much more special. .....thanks sound guys. The crowd was cruisy, sitting there with their beers and mats...must have been about 800? The sun was out and grass green...reminded me of Sunday Jazz in the park in MElbourne.
Missy Higgin's piano went froze so she only sang about 4 songs on guitar..including The Church's 'Under the milky way'. It was Missy's and Pete's first time in Darwin and they both spoke fondly of the place...yeah,why not? Pete must played to a 2000 strong crowd as the clear night fell and it was just a beautiful sea of people. I was in the crowd myself, and other than the yobbo who fell over a couple of times infront of me, i was enjoying it like the rest.
