Well we've just finished the Go-Betweens support tour round the country. Last night we just got back from Darwin where we played our first gig of our national tour at the DArwin FEstival...it was magical...outdoors on a still night, lanterns hanging from the trees in the Botanical Gardens...thank you to all who came ...and bought CDs...being back in Darwin made me very sad to leave again. Our band managed to do a bit of sight seeing while in Darwin. We went to Litchfield National park and jumped into some waterholes. WE got attacked by a water monitor lizard and a scavenger black kite bird flew right over me and grabbed my piece of chicken i was eating right out of my hand....yes,, a day of N.T. wildlife for the pale victorians.
